I've read the same thing. But, assuming the wheels on the picture are 22" in diameter (not odd for a show car), the wheelbase on that thing is in the 105" range. More like something built of the C6 or C7 platform...

Cadillac Glamour " V " direct injected supercharged 2+2 coupe ! I am already considering trading my C7 ...
Also, the Glamour is to be shown at Detroit in January alongside the C7 ! Man, I can't catch my breath !

The new Cadillac (as pictured above in the spy shots) is to compete with the new jaguar sports car that will be in the $75-100K range that is due out... see pic below.
It IS built on the C7 frame, and will be offered in a V series variant.
I am 100% positive of this.

Very nice looking, just don't call it XLR! My dad had one of those and it was in the shop more than his garage! GM is still counting beans these days so it makes sense to sell more than one car on that platform. Love the way it looks in Cadillac form, maybe there is hope the new C7 will look good, holding my breath!

Earlier, when GM wanted some tax breaks from the state of KY, they promised a large capital investment, a larger work force and a second car line. Could be this is the second car line and the explaination for the larger than necessay for Corvette capital investment and the larger thna necessarey for Corvette work force. Into the C& in 2013, and the Cad in 2014?
