Front C7 Bumper Leaked...?

Drifting
I know the actual car will not look exactly like this.....but I have nightmares that it will.
If the C7 does come with DPI, Paddle shifting dual clutch, nicely done interior, ect.... people will flock to it for those reasons alone. And for those of us that loath the Jalopnik car, we will be required to "warm up to it"....which really blows. I didn't want to have to "warm up to" another generation of vette like I had to with the C6. I'm still not a "fan" of the base trim; the wide bodies on the other hand look Sweet!!
I was really hoping to have a similar reaction to what I did when the C5 came out (and I wasn't even in the ballpark to be able to own one at the time, I've just always liked vettes) But I feel I'm in for disappointment and that sucks....
Damn I pray I'm wrong....
.....the wife just shakes her head......she can't seem to say anything.....she's too disgusted.....

Very aggressive front end. Hoping the rear end will not dissapoint. I can't wait to see the whole Car. I'll take bright Red with a real Black interior ( not Ebony ).

You are one of the few I know of. But I understand it...I never warmed to the C5...still looks like a banana to me. No car company can please everyone.

In other words, although the evidence that they had access to real C7 parts is overwhelming, it's possible they had to fill in the blanks on details like the specific details of the actual lamp assemblies. Sure, they've got to fit in those recesses, but the exact appearance of the reflectors could be conjecture.

It is possible that what Jalopnik saw last year is what we're just seeing now: final body panels _minus_ trim.

" God is in the details " Jalopnik got the headlight configuration slightly wrong. But slightly can be a deal breaker on an object as small as a car. How many times does the artist get a persons face accurate? Corvettes are almost human and very hard to put to paper.

If I were to ever go with an Asian based nameplate vehicle in (or at least close to) that segment it would be a 370Z, at least it has 'some' *****.

Not quite. Jalopnik shows the rear facia has a convex plane across the back where the mold has it as concave toward the middle. Also, I think Jalopnik only saw the rear facia without the light assembly just as was noted by torquetube above. Thus the lights were an interpretation?

First time poster, and I hate the Jalopnik car as much as anyone. I was looking forward to purchasing the C7 as my first sports car, but with how accurate Jalop's renderings look, I guess I will wait to see if it looks better in person. I made the graphic below to show how accurate Jalopnik's back end lights are. Please note that GM can put any shape led's within that tail-light housing, and I am hoping they put circles in there - if they stick in Camaro-esque-lighting like in the Jalopnik render, I might look at a C6 or 981 instead.
For those mentioning spoiler differences, Jalopnik's render is of the ZR1 equivalent of the C7, which will almost certainly have a different spoiler than the base model.

But my two cents: rejected beta version of C7 front end.
I do not believe we've seen any part of the release candidate.

Plus, a new Firebird would likely be based off of the current 5th gen Camaro platform, a car I am just not seeing in most of these C7 renderings/spy photos.
