But to be fair...it is not a Z06, ZR1 or 427...let's see what they come up with.

Any car that can do zero to 60 in less than 4 seconds is quick..
It may not be to your liking and I respect that...but sub 4 seconds is dam quick..especially for a base model...

How about the windshield? Is that clear enough for you? Or is it too transparent?
We get it. You don't like the car. Aren't going to buy one.
There are forums out there for Porsches, Mustangs and Prii. Go there.

Dude, you keep posting the most lame duck, misinformed, speculative, uneducated crap... You're like a damn troll.
The CAR is LIGHTER. Michelin developed tires JUST FOR THIS CAR! You have no idea about what launch control it has, nor the gearing. THEY SAID 0-60 UNDER 4 seconds...that's as good as your 427 with it's bigger tires...what are you talking about?

"2014 C7 price - $55k?
How much did your 427 Vert cost?"
0-60 (all times per GM):
2013 427 ...3.8 seconds
2014 C7 Coupe: ...4.0 seconds
2014 C7 Convertible ...4.1 seconds?
And how much will that C7 Convertible cost? ...at least $65K+ with any options.
I'll take the one-year limited production 427 all day long in the $70s - which is what dealers sell them for...

They are saying under 4 seconds 0-60. You also have to realize that advances in suspension and tire design can allow for better times on narrower tires.

The 285 tires are standard for the C6 base engine. What is a Z51 C7? Z51 isn't an engine option is it? 285's are OK for base engines.
But notice...they got rid of the Goodyears. Michelin PS2's. These tires have got reviews where they're said to be much better than the Goodyears. They're run flats, but don't make as much road noise and have more traction. I've been toying around with the idea of putting them on the rear wheels of my 08, but a little gun shy because they're expensive. If they're now standard equipment that adds to their credibility as to what I've read about them. I get 580 rwhp out of my base engine and need some more traction. I have an A&A supercharger.

Seriously....man didn't take long for those with deep inferiority complexes to come screaming out of the woodwork.
2013 GT500 comes with 285 rubber...does 0-60 in 3.5.
Tires important but more important is the suspension design in getting that power to the ground.

-the corvette isnt a muscle car
-how much power do you really want on the street/C6 power is enough
-drag racing, street racing, or even "flooring the throttle for 10 seconds for a thrill" isnt what corvettes are for
LOL!!!
