Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept
Featured in the Chevrolet display, the Stingray takes the form of a sleek, visionary concept dreamed up by the Corvette designers at GM. The design is influenced by the original Stingray race car, introduced in 1959, but also draws on Corvette heritage cues from other generations. It brings them together in a futuristic shape that appears to be equal parts racecar and space ship.

But I would bet if someone were to say "Hey, dude, this Vette is yours, enjoy…"; you would be all over it…!
I KNOW I would be…!
I love the way; when it is all buttoned up; the front windscreen, A-pillars & side windows seem to be one wrap-around piece. It very much looks like it could be some sort of spaceship when you 'zoom in' on the exterior cockpit area…!

I don't understand why some people call it the " Transformer Stingray". As if it was nothing to do with GM. This car goes to all the shows. Why would they invest all this time and effort to a car that will be nothing to do with the next model? If you were to use some basic features from the stingray, it would be more Corvette than alot of concepts I have seen.

I've heard the saying: the best place to hide something is right out in the open. I've heard that Sideswipe was not the C7. As much as it is taken from major auto show to the next it wouldn't surprise me. Plus there is a thread on the C7 general here that talks about GM files for the stingray trademark. All of us get excited about the latest and greatest rumor about the illusive C7.

I think it was already confirmed somewhere that the Transformers Corvette is not the C7.
