In my years with GM I would not look for a major platform change anytime soon & no way a Mid engine change as long as the LS platform engine is still making horsepower without major changes & Passing the mileage stanards set by our US watchdogs The C7 will likely only be a cosmetic change with tweeks to engine & handleing management I would have to say the Terminator Concept would be a close call just as was with the Camaro Concept a few years ago Remember GM is just coming out of financial difficultys R&D cost lots of cash so from that in its self I wouldn't expect much ask any C6 owner how they feel about their vette they will tell you it will be hard to make a better auto without MAJOR investment on GMs part
