Excepting the frontal design, that is one beautiful car. Especially the view of the rear. *drool* Also, HOLY brake calipers!

It is an awesome design, but if you want it, why not get a Ferrari? I do like the Stingray concept and especially the Transformers 3 version of the Stingray (if that's what it really was) from the other thread. I think GM is on the right track with that one.

Chevy has in the past used Ferrari ideas, so maybe this would be one of them. Or cues from the 599GTO

I've been cruising this forum area for the first time looking at all the concepts thinking ho-hum. This one is edgy, sleek, and menacing.....It just looks fast. Most of the others look like transformers or modified Cadillacs (no offense)....

The wife just told me, while viewing the not so pretty ones, "you're not getting one". You put in the LS9 and ZR1 brakes and I'm all over it.

Design cues show C3 rear fenders, curvacious like a woman. It's dead sexxxy...

Not bad, ... it's better than some I've seen,... but not my favorite design.

Maybe GM can get some ideas about the c7 from this.
Overall, I like the general shape, however, I would recoemmend a couple of tweaks to this general design. 1) Get rid of the sharp corners in the front and back of the car. I prefer the curves and look of the current C6 front and back. 2) Corvette needs to retain the circular tail lights, similar to the C6 version. This is by far one of the better concepts I have seen for the C7. I have seen others that were attrocious and should be scrapped.

That is awesome. My mind was immediately adding the Vette badges and styling cues to that ridiculous rendering! I want one, black on black please.

Anyone with photoshop skills care to run with this a bit and make it a bit more Corvette?

YES YES YES! All these people are correct!
Not only does this car look shockingly like a corvette, it looks nothing like a ferrari. I don't know where you got these pics, but if I didn't know better I'd say this may have been a ferrari tech's doodle of what their version of a vette could look like. Not only is this a head and shoulders above any other c7 concept I have ever seen, it is easily one of the best looking cars I've seen, period. It actually has a modern muscle look, which is really hard to do these days, and really none of the other c7 designs have come close. This is what the future of corvette should be. Not these Cadillac looking refrigerator boxes. I would absolutely buy this car.
There has got to be somebody on this site that knows somebody with some pull at GM we can get these pics to....

Very similar to the Ford GR-1 concept from '05.

brilliant. only design ive seen that would make me even consider going for a C7...too bad the designer wasnt making a vette..but like you said, perhaps the corvette design team can take an idea or better yet the entire look for the C7. This thing looks superb.

That is sweet looking, and I would bet would have nice positive impact on Corvette sales.
