Default Opinions on The Transformer Movie Prototype Corvette

I saw some pics of the prototype corvette unvailed in Bowling Green today.

I like it except for the front......

It reminds me of.......

Is it just me?

prototype for what? not the C7 I hope. I was just getting used to the C6 which I really didn't like at first!

I personally don't care for any of the "retro" designs that have come out the last few years. in every case I prefer the body style just before the transition. it has way too much C3 in it, which to me is a bad thing. I don't like old looking cars, I want a modern high tech vehicle, exactly what the C5 is.

its a movie prop nothing else....been discussed billion times now.

Actually I take that back, there is video of the fully functional interior electronic features; Very advanced infotainment system. Most likely the only thing to trickle down to Production. Styling will certainly not

i like it. has the look of a real fighter, now if it weighs 2700 and is a twin turbo v6. that will be 550hp to start. let's go!!!

What I would like the C7 to be more is a modern sports car feel. I'm tired of all the retro looks.. mustangs, camaros, challengers, etc.

A vette is not a muscle car anyway. Let's keep it modernized.

I'd be willing to bet that the C7 ends up looking very close to this concept car. GM has already invested a bit of money into designing this one, so it would be a lot cheaper for them to tweak this concept into a production car than to start completely from scratch again and come up with something else. Plus the general public seems to be digging this car a lot, they can't ignore that.

Yup it's already been in a movies and history shows that's what we are gonna end up with. Money already vested there may be a few tweaks but I think what we see in TF2 is what we are getting. I'll take bets

I agree. The movie made the demand. They said the same thing about the new Camaro. Now I see Bumblebees all over the place around here. They look just like the movie pretty much. In fact I've seen more Bumblebees than other colored ones. I wouldn't be surprised if GM didn't pay a small fortune to have a featured car in both movies. Just good marketing.

The yellow concept is a a version with the engine behind the seats. It won't happen.

Must be the same guy that did the Viper. The one that called the previous generation a "clown shoe". Previously worked for Toyota.
