Default I Designed the TRANSFORMERS C7 concept [merged]

Well sorta, I'll let you be the judge, back in 2007 I did a photoshop of what I wanted the C7 to look like, I was a photoshop beginner at the time.
Now 2009 the new TRANSFORMERS movie comes out and in it the 2009 corvette concept "Side Swipe" and I see allot of my design in it. I am glad GM did the corvette just like I would like it to be I photochoped the C7 concept to match my original design, I like what GM did but I find the lines of the front end and the roof a bit to flashy and over the top, so I made it look a bit more realistic.

Here is the link to my 2007 thread:

I don't get it. Your '07 design looks nothing like sideswipe. Maybe I need a better explanation.

I placed them on top each other I think they are pretty much close, exept the side swipe photo is taken at a slightly different angle.

I see quite a few similarities - but I would guess both designs started out using the C6 as the base, and pulling in C3 design elements, so it's not surprising. I wouldn't go so far as saying that I see a lot of your design in GM's Sideswipe, but that you were thinking along the same brainwaves as GM's designers (since the C6 and C3 were both GM's designs).

GM went with a more futuristic design - more angular, creased lines, which I really like.

Good job though.

The design looks like a C4 IMO. I bet if you lay it over the C4 it's much closer.

Sorry but they dont look anywhere near the same to me. Ive been doing photoshop for a long time and they are completely different. Not trying to flame you or anything, just my opinion.

I am not upset about all this, in fact I am glad GM went the way that I had in mind, I hope the C7 doesn't fall to far from the Side Swipe corvette concept. They did it with the camaro and it went well.
