Default So i went to the midnight release of the transformers moive

And man was i disappointed.

The c7 was just seen driving around and was not involved in the movie at all. It did not transform or even get mentioned.

I also really hope this is not the final design. It looks godlike from the sides but the front and back really need to go.

The new camaro revision looks really sexy

What does everyone else think?

Thats not the C7. That is just the Stingray concept.

Agreed, and if it turns out that the C7 looks anything like that car, I won't be buying one. I'll take my C6 over that anyday. It looks like they welded 3 different cars together.

I agree. I like the sides but the front and rear dont look that great to me. The retro look is not what the Corvette needs. IMO anyways.

Everyone needs to realize that GM has come up with some pretty wierd concepts for the vette in the past and I think this is another one. The stingray concept is just a hint of what the c7 will look like but I'm sure we can expect to see some dramatic changes from the concept when the true c7 is unveiled. Although many of us are hoping GM will bring back the stingray, I don't think it will be as dramatic as this concept.

I say dont change a damn thing on that car, its a perfect candidate to take the vette into the future and make it exotic. Its the best looking vette ever made/conceived.

If i have the money, my interiors get done by Caravaggio and some coach builder, build me the exact replica of this Stringray concept on top of a zr1.That would be just WOW!

Anyone know what the wheelbase is on the concept? It looks freaking L-O-N-G... maybe a V10 is in the cards?

It did tranform at the begining - its the robot that slice the Audi in half at the begining, it transforms again in the dessert battle scene.

I like the way it looks, but preffer the current C6Z06 / ZR1 design.

I cant find any specs on it but it does look longer than other Corvettes. I seriously doubt they are going to put a V10 in the C7. With the horsepower wars ending, whats the point!? GM has done a hell of a job going against its competition with the V8.

I think the front looks too wide, I think the vette front has been too wide since the c4 looking straight on it, especially the c5. The lights are horrid, but the back looks really cool.

I would say that the exhaust being inlayed like it is and tail lights recessed, it looks more like exotic european super car, not american muscle.

V10? That would be great, except our milk chocolate massiah will probally favor a more green machine. possibly a hybrid!!! wouldn't that sound sweet. V6 hybrid that sounds like a ricer but goes like a farrari. (Completely sarcastic. That would suck huge ball sack.) I'm game GM's new secret engine, the LS15 12.2 V20 80valve, stock 1200hp, 3 mpg highway. It also can run on Kitten blood for 5 extra hp.

Take that Al Gore and PETA

I just finished watching the movie and loved it but I think the OP needs to go watch it again. The Corvette is in most of the movie. Im still not crazy about the Stingray concept but Ill admit it did look cool in motion in the movie.

I'm pretty sure the platform was a C6 modified by Chip Foose. I think it's the extra body work on the front and rear that make it look longer.
