Default CPR 2650 Car proven on the street

Here is a build we wrapped up Late Jan and figured it was a good time to post up about it given the details I'll list below.

This build has 9200 miles on it now (not the car itself, but modified miles) all of them making 920+ rwhp. This car is truly a daily driver and gets raced A LOT. You can follow him on instagram 1stockc7z to see. He has gone as far as to drive the car to CA, race rolls and digs, and drive it back. All of this on a 100% stock bottom end and the engine that originally came in the car. He has clicked off 4.7 60-130 times no ice with a passenger here in AZ and recently his very first time running it at the track in almost 6k da w/ temps at 100 went 9.4 @ 149 w/ a 1.6 60. He was promptly booted for no nhra license and cage as it was an open TNT and not one of our rentals. This setup we absolutely love as the car is whisper quiet when driving with the exhaust flaps closed and in CA someone could pull up next to you and not even know really it was modded. To give you a general run down of the combo here is what it has.

CPR spec heads/cam combo
Magnuson 2650R
CPR 5'' CAI
CPR trunk tank
CPR heat exchanger
CPR low side fuel system
Meth
Flex
FIC injectors
LPE HPFP
ATI balancer w/ larger lower
RPM Diff
DOD delete, C5r chain, amp billet thermostat, 15'' conversion
full weight

We just recently did our 10 rib conversion on it to max out the blower but no times or runs to report yet as we just did it friday. If anyone has any questions on this setup or wishes to discuss us doing a build similar to theirs please feel free to PM or email me. This build we baselined on Jan 20th and it was tuned Jan 30th and back in his hands the next morning. This is very typical for us on a build like this as we have them down to a science as to date we have completed 15 Z's with this exact package from all over the country and most recently shipped one back to Florida.

Here are a few pics of the setup

Beautiful work as always Joe. BTW your heat exchanger and ice tank work amazing. After some runs in my car I checked the IAT's and they were at 99. FYI I have a 13% lower and 2.3 upper, so I'm spinning my blower pretty hard.

So I'm assuming with the 10 rib you'd be shooting for 18 or so?

Another wicked combination with the 2650 Maggie Heartbreaker.

As Ill be looking to upgrade my blower one day I wonder if it makes sense to just do the 2650 instead of a f1a94. If I thought it would hook up with the 18"s I have on the car I'd do it.

I buit another car identical to this one with our 10 rib kit and on an 18'' dr it would hook 40 and did a 4.5 60-130 in 90 degree air no ice. I have 18'' drag radial c7z's with oem blowers going 9.2/3

never got it to hook on his tires on the 10 rib. but on 16 psi it made 930 wheel through the a8. it made 21 psi on the 10 rib. And yes we sell our 10 rib kit.

I had contacted in January about a build on my 17 z06. I wound up buying a new 19 zo7 instead. I have a friend that has a 06 z06 with a d1x on it that makes almost 1100 wheel. I told him my goal in life right now is to make him go f series with a 2650. I'll contact you in 2 months to discuss a build. I'll do a 15" conversion if I need to. lol

Depending on how he sets the d1x up it can boogie. But on a C6 people miss key components a lot to make it really run a time. We can set yours up for sure to be a blast!
