Just have to set up a tune in it to get the car to start is all will not be running no big RPM at all. Just making sure it runs and has no leaks much better than seeing something is wrong after you have this part back into the car.. Robert
Thanks for the reply. Sure doesn’t seem worth the effort or money versus just R&R the engine again but I do see the benefits.

The guy that did put the motor together is the one doing all of this he is a Engineer, has all this for the c5 & c6 stuff and really is a person that you can eat off of the room that he puts a motor together in.. Robert

why are you trying to run the engine on the stand? I wouldn’t do that personally. Sort of a waste of time (and now a waste of money) if you ask me.

The guy that is putting it together want to make sure no leaks of any kind & that the motor is up to what it needs to be.. I trust him & really he is paying for the extra parts just to have them for the next LT1 motor this was his first LT set up.. You know more than most it is always one thing after something else on these things.. Robert

Nick got the motor running on the engine stand said it sounded bad *** with only LT headers & only a 6 inch pipe only. No leaks oil are nothing now said he had a inj leaking gas fixed that all is good. A few more weeks will have front & rear cradle back under the body & then get PAT G to do his stuff on a tune.

I will post a clip of it on the stand r get Nick to do so on Monday mother day is tomorrow... Robert

Engine on the run stand this weekend.

We have built dozens of engines in the 13 years I have been doing this and this is the first of many LT engines to come.
Those of you that know me know I am very meticulous in the cars that I build. We built this engine run stand to run every engine we build so that we don't have issues when we put them in the car.
Many of the cars we build now are $150,000+ plus street rods that we may or may not install the engines in. The last thing you want is to have issues and have to remove an engine in a car that may have a $20,000+ paint job on it.
For me and for our customers it is piece of mind that the engine will start and not have issues when it is put in the car.
When we build engines we buy any necessary tools and in this case a $2200 GM harness, built a fuel cell capable of PWM control, setup a dry sump tank for the run stand etc.

We were involved in three SEMA cars last year, from engines to building custom harnesses and programming.
I have built several cars for Robert over the course of the past years and he knows he will get exactly what he is promised when I am done.
We have LS and LT blocks and engines in stock if anyone is interested let me know.

Nick man thanks so much for your time & building this motor for the car. From now on you know you are the only one that will be doing any thing like this for me. I know it will be spot on in the build & I don't have to look back at nothing. Again thanks for all of your input and hard work in this build... Robert

^^^ motor and all the running gear is back into the car now, Nick will be hooking up all the hoses & that stuff this week then will get a tune from the ca to Pat G to see what it does then. May run it for 250 to 50 miles really fast, fast that is to just get the miles & break in time on the motor. Then get it back up to Nick to put it on the rollers... Robert
