2019 Elkhart M7 Z06 (Z07 Preferred) convertible or coupe
I understand I am looking so something very specific so I am willing to pay for it.
I am purchasing this as a treat to myself for a three year cancer free survivorship anniversary so I plan to keep the car forever; it replaces a similar car I needed to sell before my journey I took a little more than a half decade ago.

Next closest option will be Laguna Blue which was discontinued in 2016, very similar to ELB just one shade lighter

Yeah it’s going to take a little bit of time to find…
that’s ok. Not a spur of the moment purchase for me. Been building up to this for 3-4 years.
Like my original post said…this is a big deal for me.
I found two sellers that are pretty darn close; just different years. I kind of wanted the 2019 just because that is about when my journey began but I might have to pick another year.

I’m out $50 for the car fax but one thing I think I learned is I actually might like Laguna Blue better as a color…I know it’s subtle but I can see it in darker settings…more of a darker hue.
Problem now is they discontinued it in 2016 and I wanted a 2019.
I will never track it so heat soak is not an issue.
Both colors are great so I will have to decide.

New IC pump to stop cavitation.
track display enhancements (2018+)

Taller sc lid and aux cooler (2017+)

ELB is actually a shade darker than Laguna, but both are great colors. 2019 has quite a few upgrades compared to 2016 including:
ZR1 control arms and fuel pump
Recalibrated mag ride
Larger radiator
New IC pump to stop cavitation.
track display enhancements (2018+)
HUD rotation adjustment (2018+)
Taller sc lid and aux cooler (2017+)

I really like the Laguna Blue color but maybe not enough to sacrifice the other upgrades.
I am also leaning toward it doesn’t have to be a Z07 as much as I once wanted (not to say I wouldn’t take a Z07). I could install the carbon fiber / brakes if I really wanted the look. I don’t need the track set up for the suspension.
I’m not buying it to track the car; just occasional cruise.

What about buying a Z06 with all the options you want and having it wrapped in EB? I don't know if you can PPF a wrap be you can look at that too.

I have not seen much luck with wraps on the cars…
Lot of new C8’s starting to flood the market….I think I will find what I am looking for regardless if it’s Elkhart or Laguna.
Additionally:
I’m still young enough to appreciate a manual (45)…if I was 10-15 years older no way would I get the manual. Also if I lived in a bigger city with stop and go traffic I would not get a manual. I see a lot of people stepping out of these for practicality reasons. I grew up driving manual transmission cars or I would not want one. This is why most if not all manufactures are going away from them.
I have heard the argument about the last manual transmission corvette and I say in 30-40 years nobody is going to really care…just like today nobody buys a car bc it’s the last car not to have power steering. i.e. Or a 1957 bel air; no one says I want that car because it has three on the tree unless that is what they drove in high school or at some point in their early life. Most kids these days don’t drive sticks.
Additionally most the younger generation don’t really care about cars anymore…how many kids these days have a picture of a car on their wall.
We are a dying bread…😎. I was at a car show the other day and I was one of the youngest guys there…Same goes for Barrett Jackson this year in AZ…lot of Guys my age and older.
We are all like the older Terminator model…ha ha
