SOLD: 2014 C7 Z51 Coupe 3LT M7 – only 5,700 miles
For sale: 2014 C7 Z51 Coupe 3LT M7 – only 5,700 miles
As some of you may know, my husband Rich passed away unexpectedly a few months ago, and I have reluctantly decided to part with our C7 as I am no longer comfortable driving it. Anyone who knew Rich knows how meticulously he maintained the custom Corvettes that he built over the years, and his C7 is no exception, so I am advertising it here to help find a good home where it will be well cared for and appreciated by a fellow enthusiast. It only has 5,700 miles, and is loaded with factory options, dealer options, aftermarket upgrades (several that Rich did himself), the Z51 performance package and the top 3LT trim. My son Chris (also a lifelong Corvette nut and C7 owner) is very knowledgeable about the car, so please send a PM and we can answer any questions you may have. The KBB blue book average for excellent condition is $49,006 (range is 47,250-50,761), so I’m offering the car in the middle at $48,900 or best offer as a fair asking price given its low mileage, condition, and many aftermarket extras. Details and pictures are below. Thank You.
-One owner since new. Rich and I watched the car as it was built at the Bowling Green Plant, and they let Rich start it on the assembly line.
-I have all original documentation, window sticker, build sheets, and pictures of the car being built at the factory

I didn't know your husband but I can sure see his passion for fine cars. A loss like yours is hard to handle and I know you're doing your best to be strong and carry on for those that love you. I've lost many in my life and while some mourn, I've found it better to celebrate their life and accomplishments. I asked myself long ago, "what do we leave behind when we leave this place?". Other than dirty laundry, the answer is IMPRESSIONS. That may not sound like much but it really is.
Here's an analogy for you. Let's say you give a block of clay to an artist like Michael Angelo. You come back later and there's a beautiful, ornate, one of a kind statue that he made with his bare hands by pressing on the clay and molding it. That statue is us. We are made by the 'artists" around us, our friends, family, teachers, etc.. they all helped mold us in to what we are today. We are all artists leaving impressions on those around us. That's why, in my mind, we're here. To help make each other BETTER. I'm sure your husband had many lessons to teach his son(s) or daughter(s) and those will live on and on as they are taught to their siblings. Impressions run deeper then memories and they stay with us throughout our lives. We all remember our first fist fight or first kiss.
There's a saying that I live by.....No one will remember what you said and no one will remember what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. I wish you the best, and who ever buys this car will have a passenger for life as you and I both know who will be sitting in the passenger seat with a smile on their face. Cheers.

Yes, asking $46,900 or best reasonable offer. It's worth every bit of it

Could you please PM me if this is still for sale? I joined the forum just to send a PM asking about this car (which is just about the perfect spec I am looking for), but it looks like I can't send PMs for a while after joining.

I just rejoined this Forum as well, and your husband's car IS a gem. And i too, am sorry for your loss. If this car were in SE Michigan, i'd wait a year or two for my C8. I have been a supporter of painting the lower rear valance body color since the C7 was introduced. Gorgeous!!! Best of luck to you and your son.

Sorry to hear about your husband, and your decision to sell. Here is some advice you may not be aware of. In September I sold my 2014 to Carvana for way more than I could get locally. I just couldn't pass up the deal. Over $10000 more than a local dealer quoted me. Best thing is, no tire kickers, Carvana picked it up in my driveway, paperwork was easy, gave me a check on the spot which I immediately mobile deposited. Sounds to me you might want to look into this with your son. Very easy to do online and you get an offer within 24 hours . Hope this helps!

is your car still available? It is really beautiful. Are you located in CT? I am too in southeastern CT. Please let me know if it is still for sale. Thanks
