I appreciate the assistance here but this is not my first car that I have owned or sold. I will let it go for the right price, if anyone wants to discuss it they can PM me at any time and we can discuss a legit price for what the car is worth.
If you are interested in that red one, go ahead and jump on it as it looks like a good deal.

Here is one at 42k, but they'd prob let go at 40k - this is a CPO vehicle too, without a voided warranty like this car:

So if a dealer is willing to let go at 40-41k, they took it in on trade in at what maybe 38k? so you'd be lucky to sell your car above trade in value, but it would need to sell lower than a dealer, especially if you have a voided warranty. Just how it works... mods do not add any value. I keep seeing these overpriced modified corvettes, and I get that it sucks losing money on the mods - but can people expect them to really add value?

This has an A&A supercharger kit, headers, X pipe, meth kit, etc means that it has more than 200HP more than the car you showed.

Some mods don't hurt value. It just depends on the buyer. I'd pay the extra money for a blown stingray over a standard stingray every day of the week.

By chance.. can this be discussed outside my thread? I feel that if someone were to PM me for a price they would get for a great deal.. Trust me.. I'm not making back my money on this, not even close to it. It all depends on the mods. Stock they are about 39-42k with the extra 15ish K I have in mods it puts the price at what I am asking for it.
I have too many cars and this one just had to go as it just sits and takes up room.
PS, Corvetteforums are not a dealership.

I'm not sure if someone else posted this one or not https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...6419/overview/
What I see is a lot of base models listed around 40k and I assume they are not selling...unless people buying don't realize they are paying what a new one costs and I can't imagine someone spending this much money wouldn't research that. The question is, what is the depreciation? I know for a new car, it's typically 20% when you drive a car off the lot and about 10% per year from there. I'm guessing (haven't researched) a corvette isn't quite that bad but yours is priced over the cost of a 2019 model with a warranty.
I'm a reasonable guy and not trying to beat someone up on price. I want corvettes to retain value as I'm looking to purchase one on the near future but at this price, It's not a consideration.

I understand what you are saying but if you are truly interested in the car just PM me as I have listed. Now my whole ad is pretty much back and forth conversation about market value. Nevermind.. this is useless to even talk about.
IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER PLEASE PM ME
Hopefully that clears it up for some.

Doesn't seem right that guys are arguing a seller's asking price in his thread. And BTW it's easy to go back and delete your posts: Click Edit > Delete button > Delete Message > Delete this Message
