WTB: 2014 Manual 1LT $40-45k

This. Anyone who pays near list for a new (and especially used) 2014 is well, 'financially irresponsible'...

I called a dealer(Cadillac) that had a used 1LT for sale on craigslist with no price.. The guy told me that they recently sold it for 58K and was originally listed at 59K. I was totally confused because out the door NEW 1LT's are in the low 50's right now. I don't know what is up with that 5K+ markup they had, but I hope they at least provided lube for the fella who bought it so it didn't hurt so bad!!

If you can get one that price best bet would be mid-winter. Maybe steal one from a person trading in on a Z getting lowballed by a dealer? Problem is most of the general public think that MSRP plus is the norm for these cars and with the recent price increase(s) the pricing in the used market should stay strong.

I just did A kbb on mine 1lt excellent condition 2000 miles,chrome wheels.$59,000
Plus I have xpel.That wasn't listed on KBB.So I'm just surprised reading $40000-$45,000.
The C7 2014 is A a hot item

Here is a much more representative representation today of what an individual can sell his 2014 1LT car for, on the open market:
Private party sale: $47,439; Trade -in at a dealer: $44,540;

Not so fast - keep in mind - if you attempt to sell, unless you already have a private buyer lined up, the likelihood of getting anywhere near KBB is nil.

Why would anyone buy your 1lt for 59k when you can get a brand new 2015 1lt with chrome wheels (only option you noted) for ~51k with supplier pricing? ...Hell for around 56-57k even if a buyer paid full MSRP.

Do you actually have to work for a supplier or is there some trick to getting that pricing ?

Agree with you 100%!!!! They will be low-mid 40's as soon as the 2015 models begin hitting the showrooms!
I remember some years back people swore a Z06/C6 would NEVER sell for under $40k. Well, those days have passed!
Go Sun Devils!!!!!!

I am too patiently waiting for something used. My last two vettes I bought used and remember the hype/huge overages on the 2006 z06. Can't wait to get a z51 vert loaded in the fifties!
