My guess is at the end of the 2015 Model year you might be able to find a C7 in the low 40's, and that will be with high miles. By then a base C7 will be $55k!

The General Public uses KBB and NADA. Many Banks here use NADA. Very few even know Edmunds exist. Carmax has always offered Fair/Good for pristine trades. Never Edmunds on the sell side or buy side.Edmunds is all relative. Find a car prices at Edmunds retail and you will find a fire sale vehicle.

Everyone says that the C7 will depreciate about the same rate as the C6 ,C5 etc etc.
I really believe the C7 is A game changer.I know you hear it every model change.
It's just with all the changes for the better.I believe it will hold it's value.Maybe just maybe go down 5% in A year.Only because people want the Z-06. People love this car.To me it's the best car I have ever owned.Im adding options to mine.I don't see me selling it for A long time in the future.

To the OP, it can be done for that price, keep looking and you will find that deal. This is just a car, a very nice car but not rare or hard to find. The big dealers have 2014 stacked up and will be discounting them just to make room for the 2015 models. Supplier price and credit union discounts and left over 14's will be a bargin which will force the used price down as well. The A6 cars are already outdated and will be just like the 2005 model A4 cars, great but not as easy to sell used as the A6 cars. The early buyers jumped and paid too much if they paid over MSRP just to have the first one in they area. Its a car, great car but still a car and the dealers will see the buyers walking if they try the MSRP and above pricing now. Just my opinion

Excellent analysis of the trends and the price direction of used C7s.
The Edmunds Appraise My Car price is also quite relevant regardless of what others have said in this thread to the contrary. Try selling your C7 and you will see exactly the price it will bring - some areas may do a little better than the Edmunds price but generally not.
If you want a used C7 in the 40s - you don't have wait long.

Getting a base 14' at supplier for $49k exist now but when the 15's land, I bet most of the dealer doing supplier won't honor it on the 15's.
You won't find a 1LT 14' in the low 40's for a year or so, JMHO.

Early 14' owners aren't doing too bad. With the price increases that they keep throwing on them it's keeping the prices up.

Said that it was good until November 2014. But that was also for the 2014.No idea about the 2015.I wouldn't doubt if the market looks good
For the 2015's,We could see an increase on them again in March just like the 2014's last march.
If that's the case, maybe get A used 2014 for $45,000 the lowest in the near future.

But I can't begin to tell ya the people interested in the 7 speed manual.
As far as I know the C7 is the only automobile that has it.People that I
Talk to are really interested in it.More so than when the 6 speed manual
Came out.
As far as the 8speed auto, some interest but not as much as you would think.
