Considering I have supplier discount I am trying to spend less on a used one than on a new one, many of the used prices are asking more than it costs (actual price) new.

Says who? (doesn't match OP's requirements on color and is a 1LT vs 2, but price is there.)

All of these people trying to get $70k (or however much above MSRP) for their used 2LT, nothing special C7 kill me. I guess those who are buying at those prices are even more to blame.

I must say, I was shocked to see the range that these cars are selling for right now. High 50s-high 70s used is crazy!
We'll see what happens. It's an amazing car for sure.

Used C7s are all listed for $5k more than i can go order a new one for, exactly how i want it. And i don't have to spend $1k and days off work to go pick it up.
The market will work itself out in time but vettes really do have incredible resale value.
