Yea it’s great but being 6’4” they are tough to get in and out of. Once I’m in it’s ok but getting in and out especially if someone is parked close by and I can’t open the door all the way it’s really tough. Getting in and out once at the dealers is one thing doing it on a weekly basis is tough and I wanted it so bad I was overlooking the difficulty at first. It still has the nubs on the tires.

Default C6

I understand completely it is a bit of a chore getting in and out at 6'4.

I see a c6 in your avatar, is the c7 tougher to get in and out of than the c6?

I will give my .02 if that's ok. I'm sure he will say the same. I am 6'5" and have had both c6 and c7s. The c6 is much easier to get in and out. There is also more room to move in the c6. The c7 wraps you up and you have to lean around more to see lights/signs etc.

I to can see the problem. I am only a tad over 6' but weigh in at 265. I feel like a sardine when I get in. I used to have a C6, and am now sorry I sold it. It was a lot more comfortable to get in and out, and just all around comfort.

Default C6

For me it was not only the comfort but a 48 month note at $450 plus the dealer arrogance for the privilege. Wait for the depreciation after the first changes come out.

Your all exactly right, I had a 2008 coupe (avatar) a 2008 vert and a 2011 vert GS and they were all easier to get in. With the C7 being a little longer and wider I thought I would have more room but I don’t. I ‘m not sure but the seats seem to be tighter around my body and higher, I’ve tried adjusting it but it’s just a tight fit and uncomfortable. I will go back to a C6 GS if I can sell my C7. Still under 500 miles 3LT. I’ve added front and back Splashguards, cleartastic behind front and back tires and I bought a bra still in the box. I would add pics but I keep screwing up. If anyone has directions send them to me and I can post pics. Weather has been terrible here, 38 degrees today so I haven’t been driving it, plus I now I’m going back to a C6 so I don’t want to put many uncomfortable miles on it so if anyone is interested let me know, I’ll keep it under 500 miles.

I have the title in hand, no payments. I love the look and the compliments I get with the C7 but I need to have a vette I can go cross country with. Unfortunately the C7 is just too tight for 6’4” 240lbs.

Tempting but I was kinda looking for an auto. I just sold my 2011 GS with a 6 speed. PM me with what kind of deal you were considering, still under 500 miles on my C7.

the C7 is cramped
maybe it was planned to force the older customers out to get a younger
slimmer age group. may eventually have a sign in dealerships:must be this tall and this wide to purchase a C7

I can trade it in to the local chevy dealer for a cyber grey 2013 427 with 1502 miles on it, they want 2,500.00 to boot. My c7 has 848 miles on it. The 427 was the DEALERSHIP owners wifes car. Worth it????

I'd vote 'no' if you really want an automatic.

Do you want Cyber Gray? (I have it, so I'm partial and won't comment.) You have Torch Red now and had orange before. Seems you like flashier colors. So I'd vote 'no' again.

Price wise, I think $2,500 is high. It would be OK if you loved the 427 but your question seems apathetic to it. Like you just want the sale of your car resolved rather than wanting what he is offering. So I'd hope you keep looking for what you want.

If you are tired of shifting, forget about the 427 vert and move on. If not and you either like or don't mind the cyber gray ( to me CG is Honda Gray), then the low mileage 427 vert would be a great move. The price may be a bit high, but now is definitely the time to part with your C7, while the enthusiasm is still at it's peak for the Stingray.
