My guess is the dealership owner drove it as his personal vehicle for a while and now has to sell it as used. What is MSRP on the Premier Coupes? Should all be the same, somewhere around $75K.

Guys,
Either you can't read or you don't know what a Premier Edition Coupe is. I suggest you do some research as to what a Premier Edition Coupe is and call the OP if you're interest.

We can read fine, hes trying to pull a fast one by charging over MSRP for a USED car and claiming to take a loss. How much deception is allowed around here??

According to a thread in this very forum ( http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-c...n-pricing.html ), this Corvette's MSRP is closer to $75K, or $76K. Certainly, I don't see how this is being sold as a loss for $85K after it's been used for over 1,600 miles (not the 1K that the OP mentioned). I'm not claiming that the vehicle got abused during those miles, but it IS a used vehicle, technically speaking. I know that only 500 were supposed to have been built, but the Premier Edition also came with Museum Delivery (according to the websites I read). This used one will certainly be handed to you in the dealership. It's a beautiful car, for sure. But, $85K, at a loss? Really? What am I missing?

When I spoke with him last week he said he had purchased the car for $115K.
He was now asking $85K for it.
I asked him what the actual MSRP on the window sticker was and he said $79K.
I told him good luck with the sale and politely told him I was not interested at that price.
