It took two days on the keyboard and telephone but I did it.
I would also follow slickshoe's advice.

Other. I am exercising patience. I used GMS and got an $8000+ discount. The dealership I went with agreed to honor the discount so I was happy with that. He told me he has an allocation to fulfill the order. We will see.
I will wait a few months and see what happens. If my 1100 status doesn't move by then, I guess I will have to consider another dealership. I have time and I am not in a rush.
I called and called and called the forum dealers and never got a return call. That put a bad taste in my mouth...first impressions are last impressions. I understand that others have had nothing but success with the forum dealers, but, what works for some doesn't necessarily always work for others.
Only time will tell if I made the right decision.
I will wait a few months and see what happens. If my 1100 status doesn't move by then, I guess I will have to consider another dealership. I have time and I am not in a rush.

I am still looking for this build. Although I have my order in, there is no telling how long my wait will be. I am, of course, still in 1100 status. So if I found this build, I would just buy it and cancel the order. Sooooooooo....it's still on!!
