The buyer gets $1000 for free off a new vette and it requires nothing on his part. How is that not giving money away for free? The fact that the OP gets money in return for a tangible asset that he possesses is irrelevant given that fact. I have a GM Card that I accumulated points on all from personal use - probably just like the OP as well. If you aren't interested in free money off a new vette purchase via a deal with the OP then why not take your negative attitude to another thread where you can vent

And yes this card is a personal use only card. Not for a business .

I did this with someone else on here and it works! Saved me $1000 on my C7 in January. For anyone buying that can afford $2000 cash out of pocket, don't be hesitant to save $1000 off your purchase.

All the OP does is add your name to his card. GM dealership looks up the card, sees you on there, and pulls $3000 off the card. May even save a couple hundred more since they do it off sticker, and before tax.

THANKS !
That is 100% correct and exactly how it works. It's a free $1000 rebate for the car buyer.

Asking $2000 for $3000 in savings; net saving for you will be at least $1000 (or MORE depending on your state/sales tax~rebate rules). I have enough earnings to help 3 Corvette buyers. First come, first serve.

Simple and easy to do.

The dealer I am getting my C7 from is placing the order tomorrow, I would like to purchase one of the rebates from you, I can be reached at 469-831-3423. Bruce Cherry

IMO, not really a deal. Only getting $1K discount, most dealers offer that, especially this late in model year.

Can the CC rebate ($3000) be used toward GMS employee pricing ?

The $1k is in addition to whatever someone can negotiate. It is clear you have no clue how GM points actually work, and since they don't affect the dealer's margin they aren't going to affect the price level he is willing to sell the car at BEFORE taking the extra $1k in points off the sales price.

At least try and be an informed troll if you are going to try and take a pot shot at someone who is helping other forum members out

I'd say a guaranteed instantaneous 50% return on your money is a pretty damn good deal. And that is what is being offered here. Can't understand why there are any disparaging comments. Move along haters....

Am I missing something. 50% would be paying $1500 for $3000?

Well I was able to save 10 forum members $1000 each on their new C7 purchases and they were all very appreciative of it. Perhaps folks such as yourself are just "a little unappreciative" and would therefore rather troll others who are working together with fellow forum members for a mutual benefit. Why don't you and your buddies get back to monitoring the parts for sale sections of the forum helping us out letting everyone know who is asking too much for their parts?

The forum members need to realize that they shouldn't just accept your terms. Other members are offering better deals. They should just post their need for GM points and they'll probably do better.

I wonder if OP has to claim this on their federal tax return as income?
