Looks like its 3000 on 2012, 2013, and 2013 Corvettes. The GM card website did not specifically mention the ZR1 or Z06. You might have to ask your dealer that question.

Let me know what you find out.

Thanks

I think all cardholders have the same rules. As others have posted "selling" their GM points the card holder would have to be the one to buy the car in their name and then sell it to you.... OR others mention "temporairly" adding the name of the potential interested party to the card. Either of these options would make be uncomfortable. But if OP can find someone then its a WIN-WIN for both parties. All the best in your GM point sale!

I have just completed a purchase with c7 tx's points. As some have already explained, the card holder would have to add the purchaser - ant purchaser - to the the card's user list. It is typically a one day turnaround for the change to register in their system. The card holder would also need to provide the last four digits of the card number and may have to give authorization to the dealer to apply the points.

C7 TX, thanks again for saving me a bunch of dough!

No problem RedCarrot thanks for being a great guy to do a transaction with. I was a bit nervous at first but both you and your dealer made it very easy!!!

Don't forget to send me pics when you pic up your car tomorrow. And thanks for sending your paypal so quickly.

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread as it looks like C7 TX was able to get rid of his points...If I am, let me know and I'll start my own thread.

I also have $3,000 in points. I got a flyer this week letting me know I could use all $3,000 on a 2013 or 2014 Corvette or Corvette Convertible. The wife and I decided our next big purchase it going to be to pay off our mortgage so we won't be getting a C7 for a few years at least.

The catch on mine is that it expires on 2/28/14. I've never transferred to another person but from what I can tell from reading this thread, I simply add the purchaser on as a "user" of my account which takes about 24 hours. If interested, please PM me. I can scan my letter I got in the mail as well so you know it's legit. I'm in Austin, TX but it looks like you just give the dealer my code when you go in to make the deal, and of course, the $3,000 off is after you've negotiated your best price.

How or where do you get the information that it expires on 2/2/14.? I wasn't aware that these points expired. Thanks

I don't feel your post was a hijack at all. BUT, if you are looking to get rid of those points in an expeditious manner, You might want to start your own thread just to put it up top and center.

Some of them expire - GM topped my account off to give me the full 3k off Vettes by 02/28. After that, I lose the bonus points.

YES!. In NY rebates are your own good luck. But sales tax applies pre-rebate. Ask me how I know..........
