Default C7's sold below msrp?

I've found a local dealer willing to discount "a few thousand" off of MSRP to sell vehicles.

Are any dealers on the forum selling at invoice yet?

If I have no luck at invoice, I'll buy locally and let you guys know how it went and the name and numbers...

No forum dealers doing invoice yet. Most are msrp. A discount with local dealer is probably best.

Thats what I'm thinking also. The only problem is he has the wrong color - really wanted to deal with the big volume dealers... Still thinking - don't want to get stuck with a color I'd regret. I'm seeing now if he can dealer transfer for another color...

I just placed an order at invoice price + $500 with a local dealer (He is all sold out so I won't mention the name).

The lowest I have seen from a forum dealer is $3000 below MSRP, but that may only be for in stock/inbound; Not sure.

I've contacted about 30 dealers across the US asking to order at 5% below MSRP and haven't found one dealer that would accept that deal. A couple were from posts here on the forum stating they bought cars that were selling in that range. I know it will happen but it may be after I give up and buy a low mileage Z06.

I hope it will happen soon in California because almost every dealer I've called here has quoted me AT LEAST over 5k on MSRP. I'm hoping by the end of this year or early next year there will start to be some deals in CA cause I want to purchase locally.

Sorry, I got caught up in that MSRP plus, in So Cal, so I thought you were looking for MSRP (I should have read your comments). Good thing I wasn't driving!

You also get the advantage of letting others work through the bugs of a new model year. And there are always new model bugs.
