Mezerie pump hitting altinator brace!! grind it?

I have an 06 z06 and mezerie water pump hitting the alternator brace and im afraid to tighten bolts on pump..Anyone have this problem? I think I will try to grind brace down a bit to make pump sit flush..

Just took 1 mm off and it wasn't easy and still not fitting..Mezerie tech never heard of this ...lol

I grinded down the side of the pump and the alt bracket and it fit..About 1.5 mm off eack.
