Yes I did. It's not about the $$$, more principle. Keeping my Z06 since I did take care of the problem ($13k) in the motor not to mention putting additional mods into the car such as ADV 10.1 SL rims, Caravaggio interior, Halltech GT2 Dred hood, Akrapovic exhaust, Katech aero package, etc.
Just taking my money elsewhere. Additionally, I want some variety in my garage.
"Best motor in history", did you bump your head? I think not.

If the new C7 Z06 had been properly named as the new ZR1, I would have had no problem with it being fattened up. Supercharging is fine for the street and the strip, for road course events, not so much. Ask supercharging experts like ECS, and see if they do not agree.
For road courses, which is what the whole Z06 concept was about, going N/A or twin turbo is superior to S/C. So, they could have called the new C7 Z06 the ZR1 and the twin turbo version the new Z06. They just got it backwards.
I mean really, since they have turned a lightweight N/A road track car into a several hundred pound heavier S/C coupe and convertible, they already have massively changed direction - this time make the track oriented car the top dog, not the GT version they are offering now.

Base car with destination fee and taxes, etc will be in the very low 80's - basically a C7 z51 with a supercharger.
While at Carlisle and in the GM race tent, a GM Rep there told me that the one model there that was: "loaded like the yellow one you see here would go out the door for about $110k including taxes, etc. It should still come in at under 3600 lbs."
Not particularly tempted at this point to trade in my 3090lb 3LZ running 625 emission legal h/p.
Their car was sporting the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Cup tires as mandatory car part of Z07 package. These tires, IMHO are pretty ridiculous for any primarily used on the street.
Your opinions may vary.
