Default American Heritage A++

So my 08 Z went out of the GMPP extended warranty mid June and I was not willing to risk blowing the motor and having to front the cost so I did what any wise man should do! Get the heads reworked!! I did a ton of research on the matter and came to the conclusion based on price, materials used, and other great reviews that American Heritage Performance was going to be my shop of choice. I, along with the assistance of my brother, pulled the heads off and shipped them to Kohle. He was informative every step of the way, notifying me when usps shipped them, that they were safe in his possession, when the work was completed, along with shipping numbers for return. When I received the heads back the looked great. Everything looked brand spankin new, though the only thing new was the exhaust valves, everything else was just cleaned to perfection. Car is back together now, she fired right up like nothing every happened, and is running again like the beast that she is. American Heritage gets two huge thumbs up from me. Thanks a bunch Kohle, you the man, and thanks for answering all my random questions along the way

Good call. Did you or they measure the guide clearances in the heads before the work was done?

I have talked extensively with Kohle about my 08 Corvette. He was kind enough to explain his past experience in the trade, along with his current business. I think I'll wait until spring of 15 because I still have extended warranty to 1/04/15 anyway. (I only insure/drive May through Oct) By waiting I will be better able to purchase the E-Force, since she will be apart anyway.

Would you please drop an occasional update as the miles rack up...

ctsv: didn't measure anything, I would hope nothing was out of spec, the car only has 4000 miles on it. I've heard of low mileage failures before though. Will do occasional updates but I'm not expecting anything crazy to happen. btw did what Kohle calls the stage 4 package with the Ferrea hollow stem valves, stock springs were tested and remained in the heads.

I spoke with Kohle a few weeks ago and was very impressed, I am definitely leaning towards sending my heads to him!

Glad to see I am in a group of many other happy American Heritage customers. Kohle is quite the LS guru!

Thanks for the nice words guys!
Just wanted to give anyone who is thinking about getting there heads done a quick heads up, we are raising the prices on our cylinder head rework packages and all port work at the end of the month (it will still be affordable but our CF special price is ending).

Brilliant business move figuring out a way to fix the LS7 heads...

You will have thousands of potential buyers if the fix proves to be super reliable.
