What is a good price on this car?
Found a 08 Torch Red Z06 2LZ w/ 14k miles on it. One owner, great condition, new tires, clean carfax, needs nothing. What is a respectible price on this? I've put my hands on it and drove it, but I just want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off (price wise, I've inspected the car to be pretty solid). Thanks!

If it's in mint condition and wasn't driven 1/4 mile at a time, a good ballpark range would be $41,000-$45,000. It's Victory Red. Nice color. Good luck

There's a heap on auto trader with same mileage and red aswell for 43-45. That's the asking price and it obviously is still for sale so a 40k purchase price is not out of the question. If ur negotiation skills are good and you show then you have better or other options knocking 3k off an asking price is child's play. I knocked 5 off mine!

Probably worth about 45, but I've seen an 08 on here with about the same mileage listed for only 41 or 42. Obviously it sold quickly. I paid 40 for mine in January. Same miles but 06. I wish I tried for 38 to be ahead of the depreciation curve but it was the exact car I wanted so I'm still happy about it

with the c7 out its only going to get worse. a corvette forum is for passionate owners and we all know passionate owners over value there cars cause there in love with them. offleaseonly.com down here in miami had a 2010 z06 with 18k miles not long ago for 44k. if your patient and you open your eyes nationally instead of locally you would be suprised how keep cars can get.

It really depends on the car, its past use and its future use.
If you are going to break it down, drive it a 1/4 mile at a time and mod it you don't need a pristine hardly used and most excellent car. So this is not your car and you can get an 08 or 09 for less than the $40k.
If on the other hand this car has never spent a night outside of a garage, is absolutely spotless and is pure OEM and you plan on keeping it that way it is absolutely worth the $43k or maybe even a bit more.
I paid $50k for an 08 last year that was not only perfect but had 4250 miles on it and $3 grand of mods I wanted (rotors, shocks, and BNB catback) and something I could not buy at any price (a GMPP warranty through Aug of 17). I think I got a smoking deal.
Many of the "ride it hard and put it up wet" folks here would say I overpaid. It is simply a difference in intended use and pov.

Did you buy the car?

I just sold my stock, torch red, 08 2lz, with nav and chrome wheels for 44k (similar mileage)
But as part of a trade in to a dealer. I'm sure there was some money left in it in a private sale deal. The dealer has to eat too.

43-46. If it's a gem,low miles, super clean, and clean history........to me it IS worth more when it's the right car. Is it the right car?? only you know that.
