Short-Shift Kit Recommendations?
For the $250 or so, is it worth it? The shift feel on my '09 seems fine, but the throws seem a bit long.
Anybody have a SSK that they recommend?

"Worth it" is totally subjective. Since you already have a well-functioning shifter mechanism in the car (and the Corvette certainly comes with one), anything you select after that is a matter of likes and dislikes.
As stated, the clear favorite of the forum folks is the MGW unit. I certainly like mine. But it's not to everyone's liking. The only way to know is to try it. One benefit of the MGW is that they are always in demand so even if you buy one, install it, and then decide that it's not for you, selling it on for very little loss, is pretty easy.
Positives:

Positives:
Cleaner, crisper, "rifle-bolt" action.
Shorter throws.
Options for shift ***** and levers.
Amazing quality.
Negatives:Shorter throws.

Amazing quality.
More effort required to (basic physics of the lever - your arm muscles will soon adjust but at first you'll notice it.)
Cost (the car comes with one already.)
Try it. You just might like it a lot. Cost (the car comes with one already.)

MGW is always recommended, but I don't even look it's a good deal since we have a good shifter on the Z's as the guys said up there it's all about like and dislike.
