It's much more than brand name.

Obx copies the design of various companies and rips them off.

If "Chery" the Chinese car company made a $25K Z06 copy, would you buy that?

Some don't care. Others take offense.

HAHAHA! There was an episode of "Top Gear" which showed the knock off Chinese car brands. HILARIOUS!

Just ordered these, can anyone confirm that o2 extensions are not needed for the front or should I just get 12" ones to be safe. Thanks

Are you going to be getting a tune after installing? It isnt needed, but if you are then just plug the hole and program it out.

Yeah it'll be tuned within a month or so after installation and it's catless. My understanding is that the rear o2s aren't needed but I'm talking about the two pre cat sensors which I believe are still needed regardless of cats or no cats

Order some remflex LS7 gaskets and new gm header bolts and do it right the first time. Do not use the OBX gaskets as they are horrible. do not use the stock LS7 gaskets as they will leak badly. Make sure you weld the x-pipe together after you piece it together on the car. Other than that, no issues.

Did you install a set on your car? I'm a little tight on space at my place. If you or anyone else had a place to install these and wants to help I'd be more than willing to compensate you for your time.

citrus park myself.
Yes, I have a set installed. I had Jeremy Formato do mine when I had heads redone. Headers on these require messing with the dry sump so I let him do it. I just had to redo the gaskets cause the stock ones leak.
When I did that, I took it up to my friends place in Bushnell and used his lift.

I gotcha, is your car silver? I've only ever seen a silver one around here and it sounds amazing. I'm going to have formatto tune it when I'm done installing them

If the silver one has black rims, that is my friends. Mine is black on black.
Catless long tubes, and muffler mod.
BTW, the muffler mod was the best sounding exhaust mod ever.
If you need an extra hand or 2, PM me and let me know when you may be doing the install and I and a friend might be able to lend some hands.

Lol.. so your name is also Mark, you practically live in my neighborhood and drive a black/black c6z. I could definitely use some extra hands. Here is my car.

I'd love to hear your car for some motivation too, did formatto do the muffler mod too?

No, my friend up in Bushnell did that when we redid the headers. He does custom exhaust work up there but Formato has someone that does it for him.
I'll be around all weekend (should be) if you want to hear the car.

Oh, and it looks like we're twins... lol

i have a friend running the OBX headers on his C6 Vette! They sound great, look good and were $650 shipped. I'd buy them in a second except that I'm already running with mufflers deleted and a set of headers with my ECS supercharger and muffler delete would be WAY too loud. But from my friends experience, he loves them. They $ saved is definitely worth it.
