[Z06] LS7 Spintron Testing Request and Donation Thread
#242
In the original spintron test, Katech said the following,
"Keep in mind that we only tested for limiting speeds and did not perform durability testing. If this was a professional racing program, we would go back to the tests we want and run 24-100 hours of durability on the configuration to see what breaks, if anything.”
Forgive me if I'm late to this thread, but did anyone consider asking them how much it would cost for adding a durability test?
Or would it not be an accurate test since many factors like heat and compression aren't involved?

If no one knows what you want to see tested, then there is little likelyhood of them being tested. Post up what you want to see. $100 per hour after the set up. Sharp guy like you with all kinds of hands on engine experience should be able to figure out what it cost you.

Bummer.... I need a new clutch too. That's this winter's project I reckon. This is also my second round of head work. $2000 last time, and about $4000 this time, with my labor. All for a damn toy that I get to drive about 4 months out of the year - if it's not torn apart, like it is right now. Sucks, but that's just the game when you start modifying.....

Scroll down to the bottom. There's a few suggestions that have fixed that error for others.

I had the same issue recently. I viewed my profile in PayPal and noticed that my old address was still my Primary one. New address had been added, but as a Secondary. I deleted the old, and ensured my new address was Home address. Then went to make the payment and it worked!!! Not sure if it is the same situation, but it solved mine. Good luck.
Second way to fix We’re sorry, but we can’t send your payment right now Hi.. I got the problem solve. You can’t send payment because you are using VCC. Remove your VCC and you will be able to send payment and pay invoice. Note: It’s too risk using your current PayPal without VCC, the side effect your PayPal will be limited someday. Then after you do your business like paying invoice, send payment/money, it would be better to withdraw all your money at paypal. Create new paypal account with Visa VCC.
On 17th May, one of our user has just confirmed he solved this problem
The solution was so simple, I can’t believe it was causing my so much grief last night when I couldn’t pay for ANY auction on ebay through Paypal. I removed one of my credit cards (not my main one) and the account suddenly started working again. I was on the phone with Paypal twice last night and they were insisting there was nothing wrong! Just shows how good their system is?

I recently had a similar problem. I did delete cookies, did change the browser and so on. The only thing that helped – it’s waiting for about 12 hours after the transfer of money to my account.

I updated first post to include more tests we have discussed. Please review it. The next step is to get a revised quote for the 4 tests and then raise the money and then execute the tests. Were getting close I feel (depending on how much more we need to raise).
Thanks to Bad_Ax with a "Bad_Ax" donation of $200 were up to $1,350

Looking good. Also nice to see the donations getting up there.
I don't see the point in #3. I would sooner like to see the #3 setup with the torquer cam and PSI 1511 beehive springs/titanium retainers with the roller rockers.
