>>>Yes, Again. People Running Nitto Invo's<<<
Before you ask, yes i did a search.
I still couldn't come up with enough information to pull the trigger on these over the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup ZP (335/25/20).
I mainly cruise the car but do like to get on it at times (etc. drive spiritedly) and would like a tire to allow me to do so. I'm right at 600whp on my setup.
Pros of Invos- Tire Life, Ride Comfort, and improved traction over oem tires.
Cons of Invos- Lack of straight line traction with more power than stock, sidewall flex, and price being around the same cost as the MPSC ZP's.
Post up how you drive your car, how much power you're making, and what you think about these tires overall. Anything else you would like to add on the subject feel free to do so.
Thanks in advance,
Maxx

No comparison...get teh Michelins. I had INVOs on my Z in that same size you want and couldn't wait to get them off...they are absolutely horrible for any spirited, Mexico roll, street driving.

INVOs suckkkkk... I'm sorry, I said it. With your power, get NT05Rs or R888s... If you don't want an R compound, get the NT05 but it won't hook lol
My car is almost done getting the same power, I live in DFW.
We can play when it's done... 👍

That's cool man look me up next time you're in town.
Only difference is that i'm running a 20 inch rear wheel. I had R888's before on my 19's setup and loved them.
Let's get some more replies!

I beat up the invos on this forum pretty frequently but there's good reason for that - Yes they're made in the appropriate sizes, but they have no business on a vehicle like this. They're soft, greasy and nasty and they will ruin your car's ability to perform in every way. Don't waste the money, just buy Michelins.

Anyone who thinks Invos are good do not actually drive their car.... Sure they are great if you putt around town and drive like the car its a Prius...but anything that is the slightest bit aggressive is worthless. God I hate those damn tyres.

I have newish invos for 'around town driving'. They are not the right tire to hook up 600 whp all day.
I also have a set of NT05R's just to have when I want to play around.

If you want a cheap, wide tire for looks to take your car to shows, the Invo is fine. If you want a performance tire then just about anything else is better (the factory Goodyears have much more grip when warm, but they have many other issues). They are fine for "normal" driving, not performance driving.
The MPSC is a track tire (road racing circuits) that has some street useability, but limited tire wear. If you want straight line grip then the Nitto NT-05R has very good straight line traction, but not any good if you get rain. There are other good street drag tire available also.
It will be difficult for just about any tire to hook up 600 RWHP if they are cold and you nail the throttle

Options are pretty limited for a 20x12.5 rear tire setup. Only thing that comes to mind are Toyo T1R, Nitto Invo, Pirelli PZero Corsa and the MPSC ZP. That's about it. No drag radial that I know of are available. Don't really care for having an extra set of wheels to "play" in either so trying to make the best of the situation.

I'll tell you my experience with INVO.. Idk about the the mich, bc I never used them.
I replaced the stock GYs about 3-4 months ago. With the INVOS it's definitely a good value tire for sure. I had purchased a set of 4 for 840, and mounted/balanced for $60. So $900 for fronts and backs...not bad.
Performance: without a doubt they're WAY BETTER than the GYs. Corners better, helps with wheel hop, and definitely grips better. I have H/C setup w/ 561 rwhp and I was doing some 40mph pulls and they hook up just fine (TC off). In 1st there's usually 60% grip unless you do DRs! but that's with any tire IMO. I'm a very spirited driver, and had only put on 3k on the tires since I've purchased them. In the rain they grip fine, in the cold I've driven them during 30* temps. They were fine.

I just got a set of the Michelin ps2 zp, the factory zr1/z07 tire. I love em but not looking forward to replacing them. I also have a set of nitto invos on my OEM chrome rims. I like the nittos more than the OEM Goodyear's, in all respects, but they don't match the ps2. Hopefully more ps2 stock coming with the c7z, so if you can wait, there might be more choices. Ps3 I think?

Mich considers the PSS the successor tire to the PS2 although they continue to make the PS2's also. PSS has more grip and better tire wear than the PS2's.
