Good luck OP with whichever Z06 you get. To clarify: in 07 there was a 3LT package only in the regular vettes and 1LZ and 2LZ for the Z06. The 08 Z06s added the 3LZ package with even more features for about $3500 more than the 2LZ.

I picked up an '07 Atomic Orange 1-owner Z with under 8k miles for $42.5 about a month ago. Not a steal, but I think it was a good price. Plus, I found it locally, so I did't have screw around with travel and/or shipping costs. Planning on doing heads and headers this summer.

Thanks everyone for your replies! Always friendly, helpful people around here but after doing some thinkin and I took my 05 out for a drive yesterday down the road (still in storage according to my insurance hah) I forgot how much I like my car cause I just wanted something better. So I think I can live with mine for another year. By time I would have to drive 4.5 hours away, deal with the dealer, probably pay more than I want to for a 7 year old car, put money into getting the heads done, putting a touch screen in it, getting black wheels, I'll have close to the money for a C7 vette, which is what I'm going to do Haha probably later in the year after I save some money I'll look at picking up maybe a C7 or wait till next year when you can actually get them. I'm not leaving the corvette family, just a younger generation since I'm still very young hah

I paid 43k for my 10k mile 06 VY 2lz w/nav, I'm happy with car and price, will get the heads done for peace of mind but will enjoy it without fear.

C6 is nice but being one that moved recently to a Z06, it's much better!
