Yep

Think about it for a bit before you make a decision and avoid the $2000 penalty for changing your mind like I did.
What made you go to the more moderate lift cam if you don't mind me asking? I've been leaning towards a stage 3 Livernois package. The specs aren't posted, but I would assume it has very high lift as well. I'm kind of thinking I would like to have more power everywhere and not just in the higher rpm range. I wonder how well the Livernois stage 3 performs from 2000 up?

Lift is ~.675". Look at their YouTube page, to see a dozen dyno runs of various S2 and S3 setups. The S3 makes more power everywhere, but it includes ported/milled heads and a FAST intake, so it isn't a direct comparison between the two different cams. You could do the S3 setup, but request a slightly smaller cam. While the power from 4000 rpm+ is incredible, power under 3000 isn't lacking. Obviously, a smaller cam would have a little more power down low, but I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

DJ - That under hood shot is one of the best I have seen

Just FYI...

We offer a 593RWHP/540RWTQ package. Requires a slight bit of head work, ported tb, ported intake, headers, x pipe, CAI and our in house spec'd custom cam. We have built 6 of these over the last year. We even have the dyno tune files to do remote tuning for our package.
PM for details.
p.s. it is easily within your budget and is very drivable. In fact 3 of the 6 C6z's that have this package are the owners only mode of transportation.

How much more is it for the head work, ported and milled...nothing fancy just enough to get more flow and address the valve guides? Assuming the stage 2 is with a car already fitted with headers? Btw I see this being a good thread.

Thanks

CNC porting is included with the Stage 2. Bronze guides and Ti/Mo intake valves adds about $1500.

Here is a video of a 2013 427 covertible Vette that we did a few months ago with a package very similar to that.

All of our packages including this have been designed to retain their drive ability. We put countless amounts of hours into research and development for all of our packages to offer all of our customers great performance to go along with that drive ability and handling that they are used to seeing out of the factory.

Definitely give the guys at Vengeance Racing a call. Outstanding customer service. My car has been over 600 rwhp since 2007. I've done business with several tuners and can't recommend them enough.

Also find out what warranty if any these companies offer. Lingenfelter gives a 3 year 30,000 mile one, or they used to. I have an 07 with the 660 package. If you can drive one before you buy do it. Not for everyone. I also have a dual disk Mcleod which chatters when cold.
