[Z06] E85 fuel pump

Melting Slicks
You won't find many. E85 eats the stock pumps up. If you want to make the switch, search the numerous threads on the subject. If you are making decent power, you may need to invest in larger injectors as well for the increase in volume.

Your best bet is prolly to do the flex fuel kits people are doing lately and only running e85 occasional to help it last longer. Matt has done more than a few around here and gonna do that on mine in a few months.

interesting that two here have had good luck. A few shops won't even make the switch unless the customer switches to a pump rated for ethanol. People using flex fuel systems are running regular premium fuel too so the life of their pumps will of course be longer.

Stock fuel system=608RWHP/535lb/ft, since 2008 and 19,000 miles. First Z06 to run e85, built to Katech specs.
Our Katech motor has never needed any changes except the 65lb/hr injectors.
Methanol is corrosive and a rubber eater, not Ethanol.
Also ran e85 in our 2010 CTS-V making 610 RWHP for 3 years, no fuel pump change. 85lb/hr injectors.
