C7 - Hollow sodium Exhaust & Ti Intake valves
I just read that the C7 LT1 has hollow sodium exhaust valves and hollow Ti intake valves.
Are these similar to the C6 Z06's set up ?

The specs I've seen talk about a hollow intake valve. I'm guessing it is not titanium since it is not specifically mentioned as such, and since that much weight reduction is probably not needed for the RPM range of that engine (6500 RPM redline).
BTW, for reference the LS7 intake valve is solid titanium, not hollow titanium.
The LS6 and LS3 engines also use hollow steel intake valves.
I would guess that the LT1 sodium filled exhaust valve is quite similar to the LS7 exhaust valve and the LS6 exhaust valve for that matter (except for slight size differences), and I would not be surprised if it was from the same source as the LS7 exhaust (Mahle/Edival). It would be interesting to see one closely examined, dissected, and measured.

LT1 has smaller valves(less weight) and has a 500 lower RPM limit than the C6 Z06.
