Default Heads/Cam winter upgrades on my Z06

My warranty expires on my 08 Z06 in May so I decided to go ahead and have some upgrades done this winter. I have owned this car since December of 08 and never had an issue with it.

I researched for more then a year into different shops and what I wanted to all have done. I decided to take it to CBI Streetcars in STL and DSX tuning (Dsteck) to tune it. They did great work and were easy to work with. I wanted to run a Flexfuel set up and I felt that working directly with Dsteck was my best option.

I picked it up yesterday and drove home the 200 miles without any issues. I had no problem setting the cruise on the highway on the way home from 70-75 in 6th gear. No issues with the car bucking with the cam. Clutch felt very similar to stock and didn't cause any issues.

Car made 585 RWHP and 533 RWTQ

WCCH Stage 2 CNC heads milled .040 Bronze guides, SS Exhaut valves
Cam is 247/255 112+4 .661”/.661”

Stock Catback with muffler mod done
Ported FAST 102 intake
Nick Williams 102 Throttle Body

Elite Engineering Catch Can
Wrinkle Black Holley Valve covers
Walbro 465 (E85 compatable) fuel pump

Video of it, still needs tuned

Can't wait for some warmer weather so I can get this out and enjoy it

They said when it was dynoed it was around E62 in the tank

Drivability is good, I had no issues on my 200+ mile drive home, which included about twenty minutes of stop and go traffic due to an accident on the highway. I set the cruise between 70-75 and had no issues with it bucking, except for one time going down a big hill

Awesome numbers. If I could go back I would have milled and ported my heads since I ended up going with a cam. Car looks mean too.

So that I understand correctly, they were able to tune the car to handle E85 but you can also run 93 octane? I would like to find out how they do that. What is your CR at .40 milled around 12:1?

Should be in that area

The flexfuel sensor allows the tune to adjust based on the alcohol %
Search for dsteck and/or flexfuel, there is quite a bit on here about it
