cannot reprogram FOB? need help
I had my #2 FOB lost/stolen........ whole other story, so I got a new #2 FOB and I went through the steps 1-6:
roll down windows
open glove box
place working FOB on console
(I keep the un-programmed FOB in my pocket)
put key in cylinder and open rear hatch then turn key 5 times less than 5 seconds
My DIC never says anything about learn or program FOB like its supposed to?
I tested my glove box FOB reader by taking the battery out of the FOB and placing the FOB in the slot and the car starts
what am I doing wrong here?
my car is a 07 Zo6
roll down windows
open glove box

Anyone else got any ideas or know what the dealership would charge?

None of ^that^ worked for me. If you have another working fob the dealer will use a Tech II to just pair the new fob from the working one. I had to take this route, and they charged me $25. I have no idea how much they charge if you don't have a working fob. Good luck.

Does anyone know if there is a DIY youtube video on this?

Cruising
Point #4; follow this and it should work. I was having the same issues until I put the working fob next to the shifter.
Extra fob now programmed. YMMV

Fob program is it in Reverse.
Fob program put it in Reverse. I did program a #1 fob into a #3 fob.
When I saw my dic say program #3 I put it in the slot and did it. I never did check to see what is up between #1 and #2. I've only had the one fob the #2 fob.

The fob needs to be in the slot in the glovebox with fob buttons facing the passenger side. Car manual explained it well.
