Default www.AmericanRacingHeaders.com Z06 thread (TECH/8,9,10 second ET???) Pics/Vids???.....

Looking for C6Z's using ARHeaders breaking records, pushing 200mph or doing the daily commute.

TECH:
For the DIY'ers, we are at the office/shop in Deer Park, NY from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday. If that doesn't work then I'm often here via PM after hours and on the ARH Facebook page.

I'll be updating the list here soon.

Look forward to see who is building some wild C6Z projects using ARH's, I'm also looking for feedback from those who may have ARheaders only and use the C6Z as a weekend cruiser or daily driver.

Thanks very much!!

Are you looking specifically for Z06s or does a regular C6 with an LS7 count?

Quite a few Z06's and C7's have been here for installations/dyno/tuning.

The weather has finally turned around here.

Are their any advantages going to a 2" setup on a C6 Z with simple bolt ons/tune vs. a 1 7/8" setup? Trying to decide as my car will eventually be FBO, but may be a year or 2 after that until I do heads/cam. Thanks in advance

The 1 7/8's will work great up to the 600/650whp mark.

2009, 3LZ Z06
ARH with 2in primary's and no cats (best headers there are.)
Custom made exhaust that weighs close to 30lbs less than factory exhaust. They flow awesome, sound great, and do not drone. Perfect compliment to the awesome headers from ARH

Comp cam

P&P heads originally ported by my hand (which didn't flow the best, but yielded me 625whp and 561tq on 93 octane (dynojet)

New P&P job done by Lamar Walden Automotive that REALLY opened the heads up A LOT

Heads are also milled now around .035, before they weren't milled at all.

Nitrous Outlet for a Corvette has been recently added when I had the new P&P job, and clutch. The N20 outlet comes with progressive controller, purge, window switch, and bottle heater

Lunaiti crossbar lifters
SS Manley exhaust valves
Bronze valve guides
Vararam intake
Ported Fast 102
Nick Williams 102 TB
C5R timing chain
Snow Methanol kit running 100% M1 methanol

RPS Billet carbon-carbon triple disc clutch with Tick master cylinder
160 T stat
AEM wideband
HP tuners pro
And a few other engine components

Car now makes 650whp/579tq on motor
765whp,712tq on a 100 shot

Here's a half mile run with my old setup, before I did the new upgrades.
If you listen, the tires didn't even spin... That should tell you how bad the clutch was slipping during this run, never mind the terrible smell the clutch was making.

Keep in mind, this is my old setup, new setup should be done within a week

Half mile run

Dyno run (an early pull)

Cold idle

Picture on my car on the Dyno after the new mods getting ready to be tuned on motor and Nitrous. This was taken this past Friday

Random picture of the car
