Default My car is ready! My car is ready!

Had CMS install a set of WCCH stage II heads, milled a bit, bronze valve guides, SS Valves, etc. Also installed a NW102 to match the Fast. New tune. Previously installed Comp 222/244 110LSA 628/623.

Car made 520/512 on his old dyno last year. I haven't seen the graphs yet, or driven the car, but the word is it made 540rwhp/???tq. I cant wait to drive it home tomorrow at lunch! Why does tomorrow have to be SO far away?!?!

Is it wrong that I'm already thinking about a different cam?

Congrats! Been there, done that! Every drive is like an amusement park drive and it never gets old. Tell me that you have headers or that they are your next mod. (Even before a new cam.)

So he added ported/milled heads a FAST intake? Or was the FAST already equipped? Only reason I ask is picking up only 20 rwhp seems kind of low for a head/intake swap in a cammed Z. Cam isn't a huge one, but you should still be north of 560. Maybe it's the dyno...

I'm rambling, sorry...only numbers that a real are track. Let us know how she runs and what ET/MPH you picked up. Congrats.

Nice!

Do you have headers or stock manifolds?

The car already had the fast intake, the cam, and headers.

The only things changed or added this time around were the heads, the TB, and the tune. When I've had a chance to drive it, see the dyno sheets and get a video up, I'll be able to comment further on the numbers and driveability.

C'mon lunchtime!

Good set of guys at CMS. They installed the clutch in my GTO. When I was chasing down issues with some notchiness in the shifts they took the time and looked it over very well for a few hours at no cost to me.

Congrats on the new found power.

I was right about it being the dyno...MD's are notorious power robbers.
