First Time Out and In the 10's!
Hello All:
I have been a long-time member here under the user-name Topend182, however I find myself wanting to start anew with the addition of the C6Z.
This could turn into a somewhat long-winded post, so I'll get to the raw data first.
530RWHP/487RWTQ
Mods: Small cam (22x/24x), WCCH's with upgraded valves, Halltech Intake, Kooks w/ offroad X-pipe, McCleod RXT, MGW shifter, and stock exhaust. Runs were on Hoosier 315/17s @ 18PSI. DA was pretty typical for "good" Vegas air at around 3200ft. All work performed by Leading Edge Performance in Las Vegas.
Got the car back from the shop around 36 hours prior to racing, so I had to adjust quickly to the new mods.
Made a few passes:
10.95 @ 126.5, 1.60
11.03 @ 126.5, 1.68
11.08 @ 125.0, 1.64
I am thrilled with how the car performed given the conditions. It drives near-stock and sounds like it as well (with the NPP closed at least). I was hoping for 1-2 mph more, howver it is in-line with what similarly modded cars trap out here (stock Z's usually around 119). The cam is spec'ed for street driving and N20, so I was in no way going for an all-out NA build. The manners are truly spectacular, with no surge or bucking. I have owned and raced many cars and must say this is the all-around most balanced vehicle I have ever had the pleasure of racing. A BIG thanks goes out to Garth and Stewart at Leading Edge Performance for the top-notch build. I have worked with LEP before over the years and have always left completely satisfied.
I will post the slip & dyno later tonight.

Congrats on hitting the 10's! I am planning a similar build this winter for my Z, I don't know that I have it in me to drive it the way I would need to, to get it in the 10's so it will probably never see the track.
How big of a hit are you planning on spraying?

With those mods you should be putting down 30-35 more HP, might want to get your tune looked at.
