Default Just off the dyno 625whp, 561Tq on 93 octane (updated with build pics)

Finally finished my car and got it on the dyno. Ended up making 625whp and 561Tq with methanol on 93 octane. Made 608whp without the methanol.
Stock, hand ported heads by me, heads are not milled, TSP LS7R cam package, SS exh valves, ported fast 102, snow methanol injection kit, ARH 2in primary headers, no cats, Vararam intake, stock bottom end.
I'm pretty happy with the car, hopefully it will run well next week at the GA half mile and then at some of the local, gambler street car races we have... 1/8th and 1/4 mile..
Ready to see what my trap speed is

This is one of the first WOT runs, not the final one.

Half mile with a slipping clutch. Data log showed my RPM's bouncing all the way down the track and the clutch smell was terrible. DA was like 3800 and I had over 3/4ths a tank of gas. Not bad, but I know there's more in the car than 157.8

Here's some pics of when I was doing the build in my garage.
From start to finish
ARH 2in primary headers

Parts

Cam (TSP LS7R)

Lunaiti cross bar lifters

Getting ready to start taking the top end apart

Cam

Lifters

Me going at it

Headers going in place

Apart and getting ready to hand port the heads

Ported FAST102

Nick Williams 102 TB vs a 90 something MM LS6 TB

Manifold and TB on

Done

Initial start up, checking oil pressure, for any leaks, etc..

Letting it idle a little longer after I put a decent map in

Idle and rev before mods

Idle and rev after mods

Dyno pull again... Early WOT pull and down on quite a bit of power

Dyno sheet one more time

It was a long road with quite a few speed bumps on the way, but with help from a friend and Rob Walden, from Lamar Walden, the build is complete.

Thanks... I'll be there. If you see a vette with a disabled veteran tag on it, you'll know it's me.

Thanks.. Took me forever to get it back together. Got a friend to help me finish it, then took it to LWA, had them check over it, then Dyno it for me. Guess I did a better port job on the heads than I thought, as I didn't expect it to make what it did. It made 460 before with an intake and tune, so I would say its picked up quite a bit more. Adding a 100 shot to it before long as well... Should be fun

theres a few other things done to the engine I didn't list, but just mainly supporting mods. lunaiti lifters, C5R timing chain, NW 102 TB, stock exhaust, but I did a muffler mod with 3in mandrel bent tubing all the way threw.
Here's an idle clip before the tune. I put a tune in it, but as you can see, it was only making like 570 before Rob Walden tuned it for me.
The video really doesn't do it any justice. It sounds so much better in person. It's pretty loud behind the car, but inside the car and driving down the road with the windows up, its not bad at all.

will do.. trap speed will tell me all I need to know. I know leavinu had his car on the same dyno and his car will fly, so mine should do pretty well.
I've got a GoPro, so I will have some video of the half mile next weekend... I will be on 345/30r/19 NT05R's , so hopefully I will be able to hook up ok

Yeah they do.... Make sure you're camera is facing forward so you can see me leavinu

I know what you make, you know what I make.. If my car runs as good as yours, I couldn't ask for much more. Next mod is gonna be a catch can... For sure.
Thanks for hooking me up with em, I appreciate it and they do know their stuff...
Glad I went there over the other place.... You know who I'm talking about

Updated first post with pics of the build from pretty much start to finish. Thanks to Richard Siefert helping me get everything back together and thanks to Lamar Walden Automotove for checking over a few things for me, fixing the header leak I had, hooking up my meth kit with the tank in the back cubbyhole so I can still use my windshield wiper resivor, and for the awesome job on the tune.
Couldn't have done anything without them

Does that LS7R have decent street manners, was recommended to go with the LS7S, mines a DD.

Congrats on the bada$$ build!

Thanks!!
It's got a litte surge. I'm sure if I milled the heads that would've helped some of that, but it's not bad, and I didn't mill the heads.
I just keep it above 1900, or put it in 6th and its fine. 1600ish-18ish it bucks some. You can tell its got a cam in it when you drive it, for some they might not like it for the street, but it's ok for me. I've had cars that bucked so bad, that unless you were WOT, you were being kicked around.
At 70mph, in 6th is a bit of a pain, either go 65, or 75 and its fine. It doesn't drive like factory, but it's not that bad

If I do outrun you, with your car weighing what it does, I'm gonna give you hell, lol.

IIRC you are a pretty small guy and I am over 200lbs so I'd say once we are sitting on the line it's lb for lb the same.

Regardless, I have a ill 402 vs the almighty 427 LS7.

...... Come on Saturday already!

My girlfriend would disagree with that statement of me being a little guy,

It should be close for sure, if I run close to what you do or faster, I will be happy.... Especially considering the stock bottom end, factory weight, and the ole hand port job on the heads I got going on.... I didn't really expect to flow as good as they are.... took almost 3 days to port em by hand. Wish I had a head job like you got on yours and I almost wished I milled the heads, but if I put a blower on it, the heads would have to be sold. I might have a slight edge on traction running those NT0Rr's, but it will be close
We will have our grudge races, but I want to beat up on.the other guys.... You know who I'm talking about

You gonna race Sunday too? I went ahead and registered for both days.
