Burning Brakes
Man there's nothing better than a carbon in my book. The best Z ever built to date, but that's just my opinion. The brakes make the car and I'll give you up to $500.00 for them. Well maybe not, man you have a keeper there so don't let anything happen to her.

I may be selling the ZR1 calipers this Winter. Looking to get them in Gun Metal Gray to match the carbon fiber wheels.

I like it
The video that came on next (hot air gun demo by Halltech) just convienced me to get the CF112 CKN intake and replace my KillerBee II It cut the head inside the pipe by 100 degrees!

Badtbon is Jim from Haltech.... He isn't a forum vendor anymore hence the name change.
At least that is what I think. I maybe wrong.

Autobahn laps
Jason Harding of Katech managed a 1.35.99 hot lap with the ULZ700 at the Katech Track Attack last week. He managed about 35 laps during the first day. The ULZ700 runs street legal PSCs, and has never been set up for the track, and has limited downforce with only a ZR1 spoiler.
Jim Painter drove the car, and then John Heinricy. John had to catch a plane at the end of the last session Thursday, he put down a 1.32.5 lap out of 4 laps. First one was not a hot lap, last was a cooldown:
Andy Pilgrim was going to take the wheel, but he had to leave at 2:00.
The track record was set by Andy in a C6.R with Mike Newlander's 640 HP C6.R with slicks, wing, fully track setup at 1.21. The owner of the C6.R Mike Newlander did a 1.23 and told me that he drove that lap on the edge of disaster on every turn, and would never try it again. Mike told me that the ULZ700 would do 1.29s all day long with John driving if he had more time.
The biggest problem reported by all three drivers was the rear end. Too light? No, but the shocks caused the car to come unglued in the straights in 3rd gear causing them to not only lose confidence in its stability, but also speed. They are 5 years old, so it looks like its time for some better shocks. I have coil overs now.
