Default Pfadt LS7R PRC265 Halltech Dyno Session

I just finished up my Z06 yesterday. The Z dynoed 433hp bone stock, and yesterday it dynoed 561rwhp 496rwtq.

New Mods

Pfadt Tri-Y headers NO Cats
Texas Speed and Performance LS7R camshaft
TSP PRC 265 LS7 heads
Halltech Superbee MF103
ATI Underdrive Balancer
Ported TB & Intake Manifold by Peak Performance Porting
MSD Plug Wires
Boost Performance Dyno Tune

The car pulls so much harder then before and sounds mean, I could not be happier.

Here are some pics of the install.

A big thank you to the venders and tuner for their help and support.
Eric @ Pfadt
Jason @ Texas Speed and Performance
Jim @ Halltech
George @ Boost Performance

Nice, always good to see people doing their own installs. I'm doing mine Saturday in the garage.

I wonder if those tri y headers are holding you back?

I'm surprised when head and big cam
Cara aren't close to or at 600rwhp

Default Delta on numbers

I think you need to see where his starting point is. Many of these 600 hp numbers are coming from dynos that have stock Zs at 460 hp. He picked up 130 hp which is pretty good.

I'm just south of you in Lubbock. Hopefully I can check out your car sometime. I believe I will be at the Scoggin Dickey track rental at the Amarillo strip here soon. 130rwhp gain is nice for sure!

I have been driving the car all day it is an absolute blast to drive. At every traffic light someone is checking out the car.

I was really hoping for 575hp with all of the mods but after my baseline Dyno it was obvious my car was down a little on power. My old man has a 2009 Z06 and his bone stock did 460rwhp! I am installing his Pfadt headers, Halltech Superbee this week. We should be able to get it Dyno tuned this weekend. I guess the 2009's run stronger, maybe because the ZR1 mufflers factory.from what I have been told, his should make close to 500rwhp with headers, airbox and a tune. I am looking into upgrading my mufflers with a set of Akropivic, maybe that will help out a few more horsepower as well as a killer sound.

Defiantly man let me know if you to town. I have a set of 17"s for the track but I need to put my clutch in before I race it. I would like to see how it does against another Z06.

The ZR1 style mufflers didn't make it onto the Z06s until the 2011 model year I believe. The Akrapovic system is a winner for sure, I have had many of their exhaust systems. You are welcome to hear mine if we cross paths. When clutch time comes, I highly recommend the Mcleod RXT and Tick master cylinder upgrade.

Congrats on a great build - best amusement ride in the Park! My mods are somewhat similar to yours except went with Katech 110 cam, FAST, WCCH Brodix heads, same Halltech and ATI dampener, and still running stock exhaust manifolds and cats to keep local inspectors happy. Putting out 547 rear h/p and 535 rear torque.

Next thing you might want to consider is taking some lbs off - got about 100 lbs off of mine, including 48 lbs unsprung weight.

I think your numbers are right in line with what you should have expected and those looking for 600 N/A h/p off a liveable on the street set-up may be expecting a bit too much.

Love the LeMans Blue, would have picked that over my Crystal Red if they had still offered it in '10.

Miles of smiles, these rides of ours...

Running the Ti full length Akros on my modded Z, it took me a year to decide to spend the money for these (it helped that the wife was out of the country for two months ) but I luv 'em.

with the firing order on the ls motors, that is the most efficient means of moving the exhaust out the through the tail pipes.

No I wish, my buddy had his C6 Z06 441 YSI on the Dyno. He maxed out his MAF at 922hp so they swapped it over to speed density. Maybe next weekend I can put mine back on the rollers.

It feels stronger now that I changed a few things. I still want to see how restrictive the factory mufflers are.

Taner- search YouTube for Akrapovic exhaust C6Z06

You got that right! 130 RWHP is a hell of a bump up, good job! That TQ curve is mean as hell too. I'm putting tri-y's on my c7 if anyone starts making them...you gotta love the way they pull

Awesome set up and there's nothing wrong with about 620 hp at the crank.
