Noob ? on injectors
Well i just installed some ls9 injectors into my ls7 manifold. It seems there is some up and down play. Is this normal or should it be a tight fit. Also o rings are new orange on bottom. I cant compare to ls7 injectors because i did not purchase the manifold with injectors. I push the injectors all the way down the manifold put i can also push them back into the rail too.

No LS9 injectors for me.
When I was looking for injectors for my build I ended up buying a used set of LS9 injectors. Afterwards further research revealed that they're not ideal for the LS7. The LS9 injectors are designed for the supercharged LS9 manifold. The LS9's blower manifold requires a different fuel spray pattern (spray angle) then any LS normally aspirated manifold. I was further warned about the LS9 injector spray hitting the side walls of the N/A manifold's intake ports before it gets to the intake valve. This inhibits proper atomization and droplets will form as the fuel drips down off the intake walls. Definitely not an ideal situation. I promptly sold the injectors.
FWIW, I went with a set of 60# brand new Bosch injectors for a LS2, along with the proper LS2 fuel rail.

well i have issues with it hitting anything just the fact each injectors sits at a different height in each port. I was wondering if it would effect anything also plenty of tuner can tune these injectors on ls7s
i know of 2 people running them no issues
