I thought in 2010 or 11 they upgraded the radio so it would have two A/V inputs. My 08 only has one.

My dealer wants me to buy an aftermarket and install a separate monitor(ugly) or an aftermarket rearview mirror( I want original only). They do not know if there are ports in the back and the only visible A/V input that I know of is the USB.

Take a look at adding a GM PAL unit. It adds a A/V input and is easiy installed with a Ray Kwal cable. He has a bunch of info on his website and the PAL unit was developed to give iPod connectivity to the Bose nav system. The A/V input was a side benefit.

I put in a Pioneer system and added front and rear cameras. The rear camera comes on automatically when I shift into reverse. I turn the front one on manually using AV2. I have not banged the front splitter since this installation.

The PAL does not work with a newer vette. The only option is to go aftermarket. I am in the same boat. I want a back up camera, but want to keep my stock radio. I have not found a solution yet.
