My CMS Built 06 C6 Z06 build thread
As some of you know, I lost a LS7 due to a bad exhaust valve, after a long patient wait, she is back stronger than ever. Picked her up yesterday late afternoon and can't stop smiling driving this beast again. Decided to go with Cunningham Motorsports to do the build for me. The car has great manners driving around town/highway, turns into a complete animal once you are pedal to the metal. Wanted to thank Ryne & Crew for building me an amazing C6 Z06! Here's a run down of the parts:
Stock LS7 Short Block/Pistons
WCCH Stage II Ported Heads w/ CHE Rocker Upgrade, SS Exhaust Valves, etc
CMS Custom Mild Cam
BTE Racing Dual Springs
Ported FAST/LSX Intake Manifold
Nick Williams 102 Throttle Body
ATI Dampner
What I already had on the car
Halltech KB II
American Racing Headers 1 7/8th's w/ Cats
C6Z Muffler Mod
Here's a clip of my car on the dyno getting tuned

Awesome!! A healthy h/c Z06 is the way to go on these cars. I'm on my second one now.

I added an idle clip he shot of it for me. Im doing the same build w/ Pfadt headers minus the 102 TB
Here's his car at idle. sounds great

Thanks man, she's lowered on stock bolts turned all the way, I also have the Doug Rippie DRM Bilsteins.
Yeah, I'm in Orange County. I doubt it will pass the way it sits, but should be okay with the stock exhaust manifolds.
Thanks so much! The wait was well worth it and couldn't be more stoked
Hell yeah brotha, I went with pretty much what you had but with the slightly smaller cam! So stoked man
I wouldn't have done it any other way
Thanks brotha!
Thanks man, loving it!
Thanks man, it was 567/506. Going back in a few weeks for a clutch upgrade, definitely going to need it
Thanks man! Not sure about those numbers, I'll leave that for Ryne to answer.
Thanks man, honestly, it behaves very nicely around town. Feels pretty similar prior to the kaboom but now with a added insurance, more power, and one hell of a idle. I'd recommend this setup to anyone that wants a nice power gain without much sacrifice of drivability.

Thanks man! So stoked to be back on the road, thanks for that clip! I must have watched it a good 50 times before I picked my car up
Yup
