[Z06] New Z06 Owner

Me too, red z06 that is still being delivered. Small world, our two cars were almost sitting side-by-side at the same dealership, but mine is a 1LZ. Would have loved to do your 2LZ with the mag ride and nice wheels/tires, just too limited in funds to make even a small jump. Plus, the cross-country transport was another two grand...I am glad we both found our cars! PS the velocity yellow Zs still sit, 1LZ and 2LZ, I think.
Beautiful, but torch red won me over!

BTW, did you keep the carbon tape on the spoiler? Was told at one point the roof had the tape on it too. I think I prefer the body color roof. No need to pretend we're ZR1s...who needs another hole in the front hood anyway!

Beautiful !!
I was lucky enough to get one of the last Black 2013 Z06 with the Z07 ultimate performance package. Not sure how to use all the settings, but the car is so responsive. Perhaps we have the last of the Z06's depending on how Corvette proceeds with "extra performance" models. Not sure how much government influence is still on the Board of Directors.
Love your Torch Red !!!! Mark.

Shut off the engine
I hate to admit this , the Plycar truck had to stop and unload my car about 5 miles from my home , could not get the big rig around the small turns on my rural roads , I drove the Z06 home and pulled into the garage ,looked around for the off button , took about 3 min. (felt like an hour ) to get the engine shut off, my first push button start car .

Glad you told me about shutting down the engine. I would have had the same issue under the same circumstances...driving the car home from the dropoff point. Thanks for the heads up!
