dropped the car off for heads and cam
The car made it down the 100 miles to Scotty's Corvettes in Albuquerque. Left it there for PRC heads, torquer cam, halltech MF103. Also doing GM racing lifters, com cams rockers, C5R chain, ARP fasteners etc.
I've been working toward this, saving and buying parts since November. Needless to say, I'm very excited to see how it pans out. When I pick her up she goes right to the dyno so I'll post numbers and feedback after the fact.

Cam specs - its the standard katech torquer 110, whatever its specs are.
I'll post up results and video for sure when I have the car back. It'll go straight from the shop to the dyno.
I'm about 5k deep in parts. Labor is going to be a ton as well. Not sure yet. Book on the cam job is 22 hrs. But I'll report back on the labor costs. This mechanic is very fastidious and very ****, so it'll be done right. He set up my coilovers and had a lot of hrs in it - many of which he didn't charge me for.

I did a similar build back in December. I love it.

No headers yet. Only so much money within my grasp right now, and I'm wanting to get the car to solid state for this track season. I plan to do headers next year, most likely along with a Nick Williams/Fast combo.

She's back! I'm elated. The car is running very well, and definitely has some additional HP - and a good bit under the curve. As I drive it around in the home-surroundings I'll surely notice the extra power.
By the time I got to the shop my good buddy Wayne (6Speeder) had already been working on the street tune with John the tuner. We'll get it on the dyno in the next couple of weeks to see what she does and double check our numbers.
Healthy idle with lots of lope like I wanted, enough to shake the whole car at times. Cruising I don't see any surging.. even down to 55 in 6th. The torquer is a very linear cam, just like everyone says.. it basically drives like stock with a lopey idle and a lot more power.
I'll get some video up soon.
