Fix Installed with Dyno Results
So, just got the Z back yesterday after getting the heads fixed with new bronze guides and stainless steel exhaust valves. While they were getting fixed we went ahead and had Texas Speed port and polish them and add PRC .675 lift dual springs. Adding this we had to work in a cam, so in went a Katech Torquer 116. This cam is awesome! Completely stock characteristics with added punch! Best thing of the whole upgrade is NO DROPPED VALVE WORRIES! Thanks to Texas Speed for the Head work, Katech for the cam, and SNL Performance/Monster Clutch co. for the installation.
Results: 513@6350/474@5200
Headers have not been installed yet. Hope to get them in this fall.

very nice ! Good to see people are again happy with their cars once they do the head with SS exh valves. I'm joining that club next month too.

Once "the fix is in", that part in bold, is a great feeling, isn't it?
Feels good to see "feel good" posts.

[QUOTE='06 Quicksilver Z06;1583446695]Congrats.

Yes, the relief is a great feeling! Texas Speed did let me know there was next to no "wiggle" due to guide wear in my heads, BUT its still a great feeling to have no worries about guides or broken valves!
Also, it ran well before, but its on another level now.
