Max RWHP on Stock LS7 bottom end
Hey guys, what was the most rwhp you have seen (Nitrous or forced induction) on stock bottom end LS7. (Pistons, rods, Crank, block and sleeve). And how long this setup have lasted over the years. We know that Tuning is the key to keep it alive. But when we exceed a limit, no matters the tune , the pistons could crack, the sleeve also could crack...
You know what I mean ...
Thank,
P.S. I need input over 675 RWHP

I know theres a couple 700-800whp stock block nitrous standalone cars out there. I honestly really havent seen LS7's blown from too much power. Ive always seen exhaust valve drops and stuff like that. Im going to push the stock bottom end I really dont care what others think. I had a Evo 8 with over 600whp on the stock block when people were trying to say it cant be done that the motor wont hold etc. Guess what it lasted over a year and I sold it and its still out there kicking ***. It also depends on how often people beat on their car. Good tuning and good fuel is key, thesed motors should be able to hold 700+ no problem.

I think DSteck made upper 700s on a customer car.

Good to hears !!!
My car should be in the 620 rwhp N/A with the new headers and new CAI.
My plan are to install my nitrous kit on the car, and spray around 100-125rwhp. So that will put me in the 725-750 RWHP range.
I want to run 150+ mp/h in the 1/4 mile. The E.T are not very important. 9.50 or so and I will be very happy with that.
For sure the tuning would be safe and on the edge at the same time.
Race fuel would be used , coupled with colder plugs and all Nitrous safety goodies.
Thanks for input guys,
Seb

Safety Car
A D1 powered C6Z that I tuned made 800rwhp on a stock bottom end for a long time, and survived a ton of Texas Mile pulls.
Until a valve fell apart while cruising down the highway at 70mph in sixth gear.
